Saran Wrap with Mint, Coral and Silver!

Press Sample
Hi!

Happy Thursday! Today I wanted to take a minute to show you a Saran Wrap manicure that I recently did using Maybelline Color Show Green With Envy and Coral Crush, and topped off with OPI Designer De Better. One thing that I love about using Saran Wrap to create nail art is that it doesn't have to be perfect. There is no "right way", it's easy, it's fun and I think the result looks really great!

I really like how the touches of silver add dimension, and how well these colors go together. Such a nice, soft and easy look.
What do you think about this nail art look? Do you ever use Saran Wrap to create nail design looks? If you're like omg I have no idea what you're talking about, check out this tutorial video.

Shimmer Polish - Natalie, Candace & Crystal

Press Sample.
Hi!

Guess what time it is?! Shimmer Polish time! That's right, I have three more sparkly, glittery Shimmer Polishes for you today! They are Natalie, Candace and Crystal.

Natalie is a mix of vibrant blue, gold, green and copper glitter of different sizes and shapes in a clear base. I chose to layer this over OPI Ski Teal We Drop, and I love how well it compliments the gold and copper glitter. This is one of my favorites!

Candace is a mix of gold, holographic and black glitter in a clear base. The mix of glitter here is unlike any glitter I've seen before, it's so unique! Shown is one coat of Candace over L'Oreal Owl's Night.

Crystal is like a fall fest on the nail. It is a mix of copper and orange glitter in a clear base. I can't wait to wear this in the in September and October when the leaves are changing. This is one coat of Crystal over OPI Suzi Loves Cowboys.

What do you think about these three Shimmer Polishes today? Which one is your favorite, or your overall favorite Shimmer Polish I've shown you?

Shimmer Polish is available on Etsy in the Shimmer Polish Shop and retails for $12 each.

Rescue Beauty Lounge - Turn It Around

Don't forget to enter my giveaway!!!!!

Hi!

Today I am showing you another polish from the Rescue Beauty Lounge Emoting Me Collection, Turn It Around, which is one of the ones that I was most looking forward to, next to Pause :).

Turn It Around is a deep olive green that is packed with intense rosy pink and gold shimmer. Sounds incredible right? Just take a look at the photos.

How gorgeous is this?! I mean really. The combination is so unexpected, and works so well together, Ji (owner and creative genius behind RBL) really knows her shit.
I doubt I even need to comment on formula, since RBL is known for having some of the best, top notch formula on the market, and Turn It Around is no exception. Shown is three thin coats.

What do you think about Turn It Around? Which polish is your favorite from the Emoting Me Collection? I have two more to show you, Thank You and Be Humble, and I'm thinking about wearing Thank You for my engagement pictures! :)

Have a great Tuesday!

OPI Couture de Minnie Collection Swatches & Review

Press Sample.
Happy Monday!

Today I have a super cute and girly collection from OPI to show you! This is the new Couture de Minnie Collection for Summer 2013. With the huge success of the Vintage Minnie Mouse Collection released last summer, OPI decided to release a collection showcasing Minnie's high fashion, couture side!
This collection consists of beautiful pinks and reds, one glitter and one new Liquid Sand polish, which I'm really, really excited about!

A Definite Moust-Have is a dark cool toned pink with fine silver metallic shimmer. I love the subtleness of the pearly shimmer here, it sets it apart from other colors in its class. Formula was A+ shown is two coats.

Chic From Ears to Tail is a bubblegum pink creme with super subtle shimmer. The shimmer in this is different than above, it has tiny specks of shimmer instead of being pearly. This is really pretty and feminine, very Minnie! This is two coats.

Magazine Cover Mouse a bright brick red with insane, in-sane gold and pink shimmer. This is the new Liquid Sand in the collection, and it is hands down my top favorite. I love how much it sparkles, the base and shimmer colors compliment each other so well! Formula was perfect, this is two thin coats.

Innie Minnie Mightie Bow is a deep cool toned red with metallic shimmer. Another beauty! This one almost looks lit from within, it is so glowy. This one applied perfectly in two coats, the formula is so pigmented and flowed really nicely, I didn't need any cleanup, score!

Minnie Style is the glitter in the collection. This is a mix of small white and pink hex glitter in a clear base. If this isn't Minnie Mouse, I don't know what is! This is such a fun party glitter and would look great over so many base colors. The glitter came out of the bottle really easily too, I didn't have to place any glitter on the nail. This is one coat over Innie Minnie Mightie Bow.

So what do you think of the new Couture de Minnie Collection? If you are a fan of pinks and reds, this collection is sure to be right up your alley! If you're not a red or pink girl, Minnie Style is a really fun layering glitter that might interest you!

The OPI Couture de Minnie Collection will be available in June and retails for $9 each.

Color Club Kaleidoscope: Abyss & Bright Night

Press Sample.
Hola!

Color Club has a new collection out for summer, called Kaleidoscope. The Kaleidoscope Collection consists of 6 polishes ranging from soft airy pastels to bright and vivid cremes and a shimmery top coat. Today I have two polishes from the collection to show you, aren't you lucky?!

Abyss is a blue leaning teal green cream. Such a pretty color, and really nice for summer. Formula was great, shown is two coats. This dried to a semi matte finish, so I applied a top coat for a high gloss finish.

Bright Night is an intense cobalt blue creme. This is such a huge color right now, so obviously I am loving Bright Night. This applied really nicely, shown is two coats, and like Abyss, it dried semi matte so I added a top coat for a super shiny look.

So what do you think about these two? Are you into vivid blues like Bright Night, or is Abyss more your speed?

The Kaleidoscope Collection is available now on shopcolorclub.com and retails for $8 each.
