My first post!

So today I decided to start a blog, mainly because none of my friends or family understand my nail polish addiction, or care about nail polish, nails, trends, or anything like that. So I am taking the first step to stop boring them with my exciting news about new collections and nail polish discoveries and and start sharing it with people who love nail polish just as much as I do!

I am a reletively new nail polish fanatic. I was actually a nail biter for about 13 years when finally on January 1, 2010 I finally decided to make it my new years resolution to stop biting my nails once and for all. Since then my nails have grown long and strong (that ryhmes!) and I am so proud of myself for kicking that nasty habit, and hey maybe I can help other people too!

So there it is, my first post.. what an exciting feeling!

2 Coats Ulta Salon Formula- The Jungle Look
1 Coat Essie and Rock & Republic- Clearly Matte top coat

*Again, this is my first post, and I have really never taken pictures of my nails before - so please don't judge!

The Jungle Look is a medium green shade thats kind of muted, it looks bright in my picture, but imagine it slightly less bright. I would say it is close to OPI Jade is the new Black, but I don't have that to compare to so I don't really know. It applied very nicely and was completely opaque and even in two coats. The Clearly Matte top coat is awesome! It dried very quickly and very matte! I have never used a matte top coat before but I really like it, it's different and I can't wait to try it on EVERYTHING!
