Zoya Perrie

Good afternoon people!

I was dying to try Perrie when I first got my 3 Free in the mail, but I went with Pinta first. Well it came time to change colors and Perrie was next. Let me just tell you something about this color. She is opaque in 2 coats.. just 2! Usually for pastels it takes at least 3. The application was simply amazing, as most Zoya's are, but it was such a surprise that I only needed two coats.

The color is also spectacular, a cool toned lavender/pink. She is truly a beauty and unlike anything I have in my collection. I'll let you see for yourself!

How was your weekend? Mine went WAY too fast, I'm not ready to go back to class tomorrow, but I guess I better get there.. anywho this weekend I sported Zoya Pinta (one of the 3 Free I got from their 2011 Facebook Promotion). This is a cool toned dark blue/purple or "blurple" if you will. This is extremely opaque and was perfect in 2 coats with a top coat of Seche Vite. I think this is a great color for winter and looks good on my light  skin tone.

So as I wrote in my previous post, my 3 free Zoya nail polishes from their Facebook 2011 promotion came last night, FINALLY! This was an awesome promotion that I happen to stumble upon online. If you "liked" Zoya on Facebook you got any 3 Zoyas for FREE! So awesome, I was especially excited because Zoya is one of my favorite brands. Their formula is amazing and they have such a wide range of colors, so of course picking 3 was very hard for me. I decided on Perrie, Adina and Pinta. (My favorite color is purple.. go figure)

Hello All!

Brrrr its cold in Lock Haven today! On Wednesday I started "professional semester" which means I have to dress up everyday and look professional for my classes. It is supposed to be the bridge from college life to the real working world, and so far it is going pretty well. Anyway, I decided that since I should be looking professional, I would go with an office appropriate color for the first day of class.

I chose Sally Hansen - Iced Coffee from the Complete Salon Manicure Tracy Reese Limited Edition Spring 2010 line. I found this beauty for $3 at Five Below while I was visiting my boyfriend in NY. I had high hopes of going into the store and finding Funky Fingers- Icicle Lights polish which is supposed to be a $2 dupe for OPI's Mad as a Hatter, but no such luck. I did however find this gem. I didn't know that if was from the Tracy Reese LE line until I came home and looked it up. Lucky me!!

Color Club Ultra Violet and a CVS Bargain!

Oh hi there!

Yesterday I had my first comment and follower, YAY! Thanks Sylvia, you made my day =). And today I am rocking Color Club Ultra Violet from their Electro Candy Summer 2009 collection. I found the entire collection at Ross Dress For Less a few weeks ago for like $7.99 so for that price I had to have them.

These are the first Color Clubs I have ever bought, and I am pleasantly surprised so far with application and formula of the brand. I have only been able to try one of the 6 so far, that being Ultra Violet, and this color is amazing let me just tell you, or show you rather!

My first post!

So today I decided to start a blog, mainly because none of my friends or family understand my nail polish addiction, or care about nail polish, nails, trends, or anything like that. So I am taking the first step to stop boring them with my exciting news about new collections and nail polish discoveries and and start sharing it with people who love nail polish just as much as I do!

I am a reletively new nail polish fanatic. I was actually a nail biter for about 13 years when finally on January 1, 2010 I finally decided to make it my new years resolution to stop biting my nails once and for all. Since then my nails have grown long and strong (that ryhmes!) and I am so proud of myself for kicking that nasty habit, and hey maybe I can help other people too!
