Hola mis amigos!
Today I am going to show you a polish that I bought recently in The Phalanges Files blogsale! This is one that I always passed up in stores, then regretted not purchasing at one point or another, so I FINALLY got it, and I totallllyy love it. This is China Glaze - Pelican Gray from the Spring 2011 Anchors Away collection.
Light pastel colors are my thing, and this is no exception, this is a beautiful light gray with such pretty shimmer, take a look!
This was two coats of perfection! I love it! What do you think? Are you over the gray trend? Or like me.. can you not get enough of it?

a BANGIN' mani!
Hey there!
Today I am going to show you one of my favorite manicures that I have done lately. I loved everything about this, so let me tell you a bit about it :) I started with one of my favorite reds- Rescue Beauty Lounge - Bangin' and then added a little accent with Cult Nails - Captivated. This combination is just too good for words, so look for yourself!

Sinful Colors - What's Your Name?
Heyyyy there readers!
Today I am showing you a polish that I recently received in a swap that I had been looking for forever! This is Sinful Colors- What's Your Name? This is said to be a dupe for the much coveted OPI - Unripened from the Fall 2010 Halloween collection. I found a mini Unripened when I went dusty hunting a few months ago, but I feel like I have to use it sparingly, so I am happy that I got the dupe for it :)
This is a blackened teal/blue with hints of purple with flashy shimmer. I really liked this polish, the wear wasn't too great, but then again I change up my polish on a pretty regular basis, so that was okay with me. Take a look!

Of course my camera can't pick up the true beauty of What's Your Name? But it is quite lovely.
Do you like to wear dark colors in the summer like I do? Or are you more of a season follower kind of gal?
Thanks for stopping!

essence - Forget Me Not
Hello there!
Yes, I am alive! I went away for the weekend and forgot to schedule some blog posts, my bad! Tonight I am going to show you essence - Forget Me Not. This was a polish that I was CONVINCED I was never going to find, because from what I understand it is a UK brand, and well.. I live in the U.S. and also, I heard that it was released at Ulta, but I live about 1.5 hours from one, and figured by the time I went to visit my BF's family (near an Ulta) this would be completely sold out.
Well, it was my lucky day! I found this and 'I Like' the last two!! I snatched them both up for $1.99/ea. and I'm so so so happy I did! This is utter perfection- take a look

So gorgeous! Shown above is three coats, and it was surprisingly really dense and the glitter went on super smoothly. The color is just out of this world, and I couldn't stop staring at my hands when I was wearing this! Bubbly Bombshell can be found at Ulta, online, or at other beauty supply stores for around $7 and this came out for (I believe) Summer 2011.
I really do love this so much, but for some reasons glitter and I just do not get along, it doesn't matter what the brand is, it always chips within a day! But I guess that makes removal easy :)
What do you think of Bubbly Bombshell? I'm totally lovin it!

OPI - Paris Couture for Sure
Holaa!
I am going to post quick today about OPI - Paris Couture for Sure, a long time discontinued (AMAZING) polish. This is a holographic glitter "topcoat" that can be made opaque with a few coats. Today I am going to show this over Sally Hansen Pedal to the Metal, which is a blue toned medium silver metallic which is completely boring on its own, but gorgeous with PCfS!!

Essence - I Like..
Hi!
Today I am so excited to show you essence - I Like.. from the Blossoms etc Summer 2011 collection that I just happened to find at Ulta. I REALLLLLY wanted 'Forget me Not" from this same collection, and this one, and found them BOTH, and I snatched up the last ones of each! It was my lucky day!
Anyway! This is a gorgeous light turquoise with subtle silver shimmer. I love this. It went on so smooth in only two coats, and the color just screams summer, take a look-
I am so smitten with this, seriously look at that shimmer, and the gorgeous color. The color may not be the most interesting and unique, but the shimmer really makes it, and I love it! Shown above is two flawless coats. Thoughts?

OPI - Play the Peonies
Hey everyone!
Today I am showing you OPI - Play The Peonies from the Summer 2011 Nice Stems collection. I had been jonesing for this one for such a long time, and finally came across a full display a few weeks ago at Ulta. I don't know what took me so long to finally get around to use this, its such an incredible shade and I have gotten so many complements on it so far!!
Check out this gorgeous pastel shimmery pink!
Shown above is two coats of Play the Peonies. I am in love with this, seriously! It's not in your face stark light pink that so many pastels can come off as, and I think it is due to the hidden shimmer. Either way, I am SUCH a fan! What do you think?

Cult Nails - Cruisin' Nude
Hola!
Today I am going to show you another Cult Nails polish from the 'A Day at The Races' collection. I really had a hard time when I was ordering polish from the Cult Nails site, because I could not make a decision for the life of me! I was so torn because all the colors are absolutely gorgeous, and so unique!
Here is Cruisin' Nude, this is the polish that I wore for my interview last week, office appropriate, with an edge! Check out Cruisin' Nude! (I love this name BTW!)

Can you see the pink shimmer? It's much more apparent in person. This was almost a one coater! But I did two just for consistency. What do you think?

OPI - Wing It!
Hi everyone!!
Here's a quick post of my NOTD, OPI - Wing It! I recently received this in a swap and I am loving it! When you look at it you first see hot pink, and then flashes of blue! It is really pretty and such a nice summer shade, it is from last summer's 'Summer Flutter' collection. I also have Flower-to-Flower from that collection that I have yet to try, but take a look at Wing It!
Shown above is 3-4 coats depending on the nail to cover VNL. I really really like the finish of this, its a super foily almost duochrome finish, so pretty!

Cult Nails - Let Me Fly
Hey readers!
Today I am so happy to show you one of the polishes that I recently purchased from Cult Nails, and boy am I happy that I placed my order when I did, because since then, all three that I got (Let Me Fly, Captivated and Cruisin Nude) have sold out! Lucky Lynnie!
Here is Let Me Fly. What a totally gorgeous shade this is. Application was a dream, and again, I am just so glad I placed my order because I would have been a sad girl to miss this polish, it's like my perfect turquoise with beautiful tiny flakies, what more could I ask for?!
*picks up jaw off the ground* If this kind of shade is even remotely close to being something you'd like, I strongly suggest you pick this up when it comes back in stock sometime towards the end of the year. I am LOVING this. I can't get enough, seriously!
What do you think about Let Me Fly? Did you purchase this or any other colors from Cult Nails?

essence - Irreplaceable
Hi!
Last weekend I went to New York with my boyfriend to visit his family, long story short, as I have mentioned before, there is an Ulta there (*little kid in a candy shop*) so I made not only one, but two trips to Ulta during that long weekend to pick up some goodies!
The first thing I will show you from my trip is essence - Irreplaceable. This tiny little polish is from the colour & go collection and it is just.. wow. It's like one of my favorite neutrals, Zoya Jules, on acid. Take a look at the glittery goodness!
I love neutrals that have a kick to them, and this definitely has a kick! For only 99 cents I should have picked up multiple bottles of this, because I see myself reaching for this a lot in the future!
Above is two coats of Irreplaceable and the dry time was excellent. Thoughts?

MAC - Formidable!
Hi theeere!
Today I am posting quickly to show you MAC Formidable from the Venomous Villains Collection from Fall 2010 (I believe?) Anywho, I had wanted this and Bad Fairy but so far I only have been able to get my hands on Formidable, someday Bad Fairy, you will be mine.
So check out this pretty duochrome below
I need to learn how to start taking better pictures.. because this didn't really capture its true beauty and sparkle-y-ness that it really is! But whatever, you get the idea, and I am sure you have seen this color MANY times before!
I layered one coat of Formidable over Sally Hansen - Plum Luck. Because I have this thing.. that if a polish is somewhat sheer, I don't want to waste as much polish by layering it over and over again. Does this make me a freak? Hahah does anyone else do that?
Welp, I hope you enjoyed Formidable!

Wet n' Wild - Buffy the Violet Slayer.. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hola bonitas!
Today I am showing you the most gorgeous bright blue/purple polish. This is Wet n' Wild - Buffy the Violet Slayer. WOW is all I have to say about this one.. in my pictures it looks way more blue than it actually is. It is really more violet than blue, but you can still tell how bright it is.
I am completely smitten with this color. You know about my purple addiction, and this does not help it! I am so happy that I picked this up, and I am starting to think I need a backup bottle! Look for yourself.
Woweeee! It's perfect. There's nothing else I need to say! Thoughts?

It's like the Milky Way!
Hi!
Here is a mani I did a few weeks ago that I never got around to posting. The base color is Revlon - Marine Blue, which is a perfect navy with hidden shimmer that was just so smooth and creamy in two perfect coats, topped with Revlon Galaxy. Galaxy has a bunch of holo hex glitter as well as black and also blue small glitter in it. This is a unique polish that with the right base, looks fantastic! Take a peek!

What do you think of this combo?

Sinful Colors - Seaweed
Hi there!
Sorry I haven't been posting that much lately, I've been so busy! Good news though, I have a job interview this Friday (wooo!) wish me luck :) Today I am showing you Sinful Colors - Seaweed from the Adventure Island collection that is full of OPI dupes. This one is a dupe for OPI Stranger Tides which I do not own, so I can't show you how close they are. But I have seen enough comparisons out there to make the decision that I don't need both!
Seaweed is an interesting muted green with a yellow undertone, it's hard to explain, but absolutely lovely, and opaque in two coats. Lookie!

Oooh so vampy! Sally Hansen - Glossy
Hi there!
I'm doing a quick post today to show you a super sexy, vampy polish. This is Sally Hansen Glossy from the Lacquer Shine collection. I don't know when it was released, or how old this polish is. The bottle looks like it is kind of old, but again, I really don't know for sure. I received this baby as an extra, and I'm so happy I did.
Just look at it. I am such a fan of dark and sexy colors. And this is certainly no exception:
Shown above is only two coats and application was a dream! Ohh I am so smitten with this blackened cherry color. It has the most beautiful shimmer that really comes through in the sunlight. Love it!
Whaddaya think about Glossy?
