Hey there!
I figured that I would used today's post to address one of my most commonly asked questions as a nail blogger. Usually, one of the first questions I get asked after I tell someone about my nail blog or after someone comments about my nail polish is 'how do you keep your cuticles looking so healthy?'
Enter Lush Lemony Flutter. I use this stuff at least twice a day, sometimes more like 5 times a day if I've been washing my hands a lot or if my cuticles look dry. I actually store the tub of LF in my refrigerator and carry around a little decant jar in my purse. Why the fridge you ask? Because Lemony Flutter is made with natural ingredients, this helps extend it's expiration date.
I got my first jar of LF in April, and have barely made a dent in it. A little goes a long way. To use this, I dab my finger in the jar, and spread the butter along my cuticles, and then massage into each cuticle/nail.
That's pretty much it. I love this stuff! Lemony Flutter has a slight herbal lemon scent. One thing I like about the scent is that it doesn't linger all day, it is fragrant when you're using it, but that's about it- so you don't have to worry about clashing scents.
What is your moisturizing regimen? Does it include a cuticle butter like Lemony Flutter? Do you use something other than this? I'd love to hear what you use to keep your hands and cuticles looking soft and healthy.
Lemony Flutter can be purchased from lush.com for around $15, but like I said- this 1.5 oz jar will last you a LONG time!
I *love* my Lemony Flutter too. That's a great idea, keeping it fridged and portioned out in take-along size!
