How crazy/awesome is this trend of wearing bits of gold on your nails? In my opinion, it's very 'first world' but I still can't help but love it. It's like grown up glitter, very pretty and unique.
If you aren't familiar this trend, polish companies recently started coming out with 18k gold leaf top coats that you can layer over a base of polish for a super glam look. Today we have the Jessica Cosmetics Luxe 18K Gold Leaf Top Coat. Are you ready for this awesomeness?
Shown below is one coat of Jessica 18K Gold Leaf top coat over OPI You Only Live Twice. I took a really long time deciding what to layer this with, I wanted it to be perfect, and I am super pleased with this combo. The gold bits just pops and come to life over the vivid pink base. Gorgeous!

I really really like this top coat! I can't wait to try this over more colors, the combinations are endless, can you imagine how this would look like mattified? Adding that to my list of combos to try! Believe me when I say this is going to get a lot of love from me in the future!

This is very pretty! I tried on Sephora's version of this in the store and the gold flakes were too small to actually look like gold flakes... I like this effect much better, very nice.
