Part I: OPI Skyfall Collection Swatches & Review

Hello!

Where does the time go?! I can't believe that I am showing you a second Holiday collection today. The holidays seem so far away, but in reality they are right around the corner! With that said, today we are looking at Part 1 of the OPI Skyfall collection which is in celebration of 50 years of James Bond, each polish is named after a James Bond movie, how cool is that?

*All photos are taken under a full spectrum Ottlite. With the seasons changing and it getting darker earlier now where I live, I was unable to take photos in sunlight and natural light, this is the best I could do!  :D

Skyfall is a deep red brick crème.  In certain lights this picks up more brown than red, either way, this is super pretty. I got a ton of compliments while wearing this and I liked it so much I wore it for 4 whole days, that is saying something! This is 2 coats.

Casino Royale is a deep berry purple crème. Another nice and easy color for winter. I really love shades like this because they are so versatile. This is 2 coats.

Die Another Day is a bright red shimmer that leans very orange. I couldn’t believe how awesome the formula was on this one, it applied perfectly in 2 coats. Win!

The Spy Who Loved Me is a bright red packed with fine flecks of gold shimmer. Very pretty, and this will be totally perfect for the holidays! This is another 2 coater.

You Only Live Twice is a fuchsia glass flecked beauty, another incredible shade in this collection. It is SO SHIMMERY! Clearly this freaked my camera out, but I think this picture still gives you an idea of what a sparkle bomb this is. 2 coats.

Goldeneye is FANTASTIC! This is a yellow gold glitter in a sheer yellow base. The glitter in this is more like a glass fleck and less like a glitter, it is so dense and shimmery and complex, such a gorgeous shade! By far my favorite in this set, if not the entire collection. This is 3 coats.
So, what do you think about Part 1 of the Skyfall collection? We have a lot of nice holiday shades in this set including a few awesome reds, which I am loving! And how gorgeous is Goldeneye? I can't get enough! Which one is your favorite? Have you spotted these already, if so, which ones made your cut?

Soon I will be showing you the blues and greens and grays of this collection so stay tuned!

These are availbable now and retail for $8.50 each.

  4. Just bought Goldeneye at work. I can't wait to wear it. The others don't seem outrageously original in my collection.
