From the Vault: Maybelline Colorama - Raspberry Sorbet

Hello!

What is the oldest nail polish in your collection? Do you have any vintage black label OPI's? Or any old Revlon Street Wear polishes? Today I am showing you the oldest polish in my collection, this is Raspberry Sorbet from the Maybelline Colorama collection. I remember stealing borrowing this from my older sister when we were in high school which was at least 7 or 8 years ago.. oh the memories.

Raspberry Sorbet is a gorgeous super intense fuchsia metallic shimmer. This goes on super smooth and is opaque in 2 coats. I actually have to ration this precious polish because it has less than half a bottle remaining, but I can't help but pull it out every now and then, it's just so pretty! An oldie, but such a goodie.

See what I mean? Simply gorge. Now I want to know what the oldest polish in YOUR collection is! Tell me! I love stories about old school nail polish. My sisters and I loved painting our nails when we were younger, and we had a pretty nice selection, I just wish I would have held onto those bottles now! :D

  2. Gorgeous. My oldest is Bikini Envy, which I believe came out in 2004, so I have had it for 7 years!

  3. this is so pretty! haha I have no idea what my oldest polish is! I have been buying polish since i was at least 10! some polishes weren't even like real brands, they came in little girl make up sets haha! but i remember once when i was 12 (11 years ago!) buying SUPER mini sephora polishes that were night blue, light pink, and a milk chocolate brown. but i don't have a clue where they are now. most of my polishes that are older than about 5 years old have all dried up and gone to polish heaven

  4. I don't know what my oldest is since I've had nail polish since 4th grade, but one of the old rare ones I have is Liquid Euphoria "Ecstasy." I got it when I was in middle school and it's gorgeous! I also have some very old China Glazes and OPIs.

  6. Wow, very pretty! I have a few really old OPIs from ~2004 (give or take a year; they've got the black label, though!) lurking about. Unfortunately I dumped all of my really old late 90's/ early 00's (Streetwear! No! Why!?) before I was blogging and knew how to save old polish and care for it properly. I figured it was old and would probably make me sick or something. I was such a fool!

At any rate, this is a lovely color, I'm glad you still wear it and enjoy it!
