Hey! It's me again! And it feels like it has been forever, I missed you guys. Anywho, I am all settled in the new house, and ready to get back to blogging, yay! Today I have Part I of the new Nicole by OPI Selena Gomez Collection.
This is a fourteen piece collection with half the collection being glitters, so I decided to break it down into two posts. Today I'm going to show you the cremes and shimmers of the collection. Let's get started!
Pretty in Plum is a deep magenta purple shimmer. This one is really pretty, and went on perfectly in two coats. I actually used this for the first 'post move' mani that I did, and what a pretty one it was at that!
Spring Break is your typical mid toned bright pink creme. The color isn't the most unique in the world, but the formula was really nice, this was perfect in two coats.
Hit the Lights is an insanely bright sunshine yellow with very fine and sparse silver shimmer. I included a photo where I used the camera flash to pick up the shimmer you you can get a better view. It's not too visible in real life though, which is a bummer. The formula on this was great for a yellow, three easy coats.
Love Song is a blue leaning lavender creme with the same fine shimmer as Hit the Lights. This is so pretty, I can never get enough colors like this. This is two coats.
Naturally is a bright bubblegum pink, again with the fine silver shimmer that the two above it have. I am obsessed with this one, the base color is so perfectly feminine, and the silver shimmer makes it so dainty. Gorg! Two coats.
Selena is a pinkish peach with - you guessed it - the fine silver shimmer! This is a really nice color, and I couldn't find anything like it in my collection. Very pretty and mature without being boring. This was opaque in two coats.
Last, but definitely not least is Scarlett. This is an insanely gorgeous vivid pink shimmer. Scarlett never stops sparkling. It really is the star of this half of the collection, if not the whole collection in my opinion. Just gorgeous. The formula was magnificent, two coats did the trick.
So lets hear what you have to think! Which one of these is your favorite? Any that you absolutely positively can not live without?! Let me know what is going to make your cut, and how you feel about Selena Gomez collaborating with OPI. Do you like the colors that they created together?
Stay tuned for Part II which is filled with glittery goodness!!
