Hi!
I have something fresh and new to show you today! Are you excited? I am! Prepare to feast your eyes on the new Liquid Sand polishes from the OPI Mariah Carey Collection! The Mariah Carey Collection is split into two parts, Liquid Sand, and Studio Shades.
Liquid Sand offers a never before seen look with a pebbled finish that lightly shimmers with fine glitter particles. These polishes are to be worn without top coat for a textured matte finish. Sounds awesome right?! Let's get started!
The Impossible is a bright coral fuchsia base with heavy pink hex and star glitter. I had a hard time getting the stars on my nails, there is actually only one star on my pointer finger, enlarge the picture and you'll be able to see it! Formula was amazing on this, just two coats for a quick drying super cool finish.
Can't Let Go is a blue toned purple glitter. This has large hex glitter and small glitter, which gives it a bumpier finish than The Impossible. Very pretty, and great formula too, this is two coats!
Stay the Night is a black base with fuchsia tiny glitter. At first look I thought the glitter was red, but it is definitely pink. I love the color combination here, and the finish is very cool looking with the bright pink against the dark black base. Love it! Shown here is three coats.
Get Your Number is a vivid blue with large round holo glitter and smaller glitter particles. This one is so cool! I love the holo glitter mixed throughout, making it sparkly and matte at the same time. Shown here is three coats.
So what do you think of the new Liquid Sand finish by OPI? I wore The Impossible for a few days and LOVED it. The texture, though it is bumpy, is really fun and different. Usually I am a high shine glossy finish girl, but these are just too cool not to love.
These are available now (yay!) and retail for $9 each.
